This paper presents a detailed comparison among single-phase transformerless string inverters for grid-connected PV systems. The characteristics of the PV modules and their non-idealities are taking into the account for the design and the performance of the inverter with respect to the IEEE 1547 Standard. Simulated and experimental results for the inverter topologies are carried out.
High step-up voltage gain in DC/DC converters can be achieved by means of the voltage conversion ability of transformers and coupled inductors. Aiming to avoid the problems caused by the leakage inductance of the magnetics, this paper proposes the use of passive clamping circuits. The boost clamping is integrated with a set of isolated topologies forming a family of converters, named Integrated Boost-Isolated...
This paper presents a new methodology to generate high step-up voltage gain converters based on the combination of two standard DC/DC converters. The converters are combined so that their Input sections are integrated reducing the converter component count. Their Output sections are associated to derive three basic configurations, the series, the parallel and the cascade outputs. The paper presents...
This paper presents a comparative study of performance between the Z Transform and the Delta Transform applied to a Robust Model Reference Adaptive Controller (RMRAC). To show the differences between the two discretization techniques, the design of a controller applied to an AC Power Source (ACPS) is performed. The simulation results are obtained in a scenario where the controller is implemented in...
This paper presents a comparative study of performance between the Z Transform and the Delta Transform applied to a Robust Model Reference Adaptive Controller (RMRAC). To show the differences between the two discretization techniques, the design of a controller applied to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is performed. The simulation results are obtained in a scenario where the controller is implemented...
