Video game production is facing challenges related to the need to increase consideration of player characteristics from the user perspective. This paper presents an initial proposal of factors that may be considered so that video games can be more user-centered. For example, we mention managing affective characteristics and relating player emotions to aspects of video game characters and other entities.
