Continuous, automated monitoring of Parkinsons Disease (PD) symptoms would provide clinicians with more information to understand their patients' disease progression and adjust treatment protocols, thereby improving PD care. Collecting precisely labeled data for Parkinson's symptoms, such as tremor, is difficult. Therefore, algorithms for monitoring should only require weakly-labeled training data...
A human being accumulates the majority of the surrounding impressions through vision. With the ability to track and observe a user's gaze, it is possible to obtain deep insights into the person's attention and, based on the gathered information, understand his or hers behavior and actions. In this paper we present an improved Multi-Camera 3D Eye Tracking framework for human-computer interface based...
This paper presents a framework for determining the direction of human gaze with an active multi-camera system. A fixed 3D depth sensor is employed in order to determine the position of the human face in 3D space and its features, like the eyes. Then an active pan-tilt camera is oriented to one of the user's eyes and this way a high precision gaze direction determination is accomplished.
The eye's blinking is a significant indicator of the sleepiness. The existing systems of blink detection and sleepiness analysis require usually to fix camera on spectacle frame or a special helmet that is not convenient and can affect the obtained result. In this paper, the infrared camera-based contact-less system is proposed to evaluate the human's sleepiness. The infrared light switching is used...
