A novel route was developed to fabricate anode‐supported solid oxide fuel cells with a high throughput and low manufacturing costs. In contrast to classical manufacturing routes, this novel route starts with the tape casting of the thin electrolyte followed by the tape casting of the anode and anode support. All three layers were cast green‐on‐green and finally sintered to yield a gas‐tight electrolyte...
Purpose The purposes of the study were to evaluate and to quantify the pivot shift phenomenon by using a small and easy to handle measuring device for pivot shift quantification. Methods Twenty patients (forty knees) with primary torn anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL) were tested under anesthesia, graded by the examiner and by the device according to the IKDC classification [normal (0), glide (1),...
In the rough and partly in the medium-vacuum range elastic collisions between electrons and gas particles have a strong influence on the shape of electron trajectories. This electron scattering can be applied for pressure measurement using gauges with simple electrode structure. The paper describes gauge structures using this effect. Some results of the numerical calculations and experiments are presented...
Analytical or numerical methods for the investigation of hot cathode ionization gauges were described and discussed only rarely in the literature. This is due to various difficulties in the theoretical calculation of gauge sensitivity and other important properties. The rapid development of computer hardware gives the opportunity to apply numerical methods in the investigation of hot cathode ionization...
We have investigated the disturbing influence of outgassing and desorption effects on the pressure reading of three different types of ionization gauges with different methods. The behaviour of these gauges after exposure to gases, which are important in the Ultra-High-Vacuum region, after variation of the electron current, and for different potentials of the electrodes were studied. We have also...
This contribution describes a fully integrated field segment photo receiver for use in single lens reflex cameras. It supplies measurement values of five segments and the integral value via a standard interface to the camera processor. Individual calibration data of each sensor are stored in an on-chip EEPROM. The IC has been manufactured in a standard CMOS technology.
