We report on optical injection locking of Q-switched InGaN multi-section diode laser from CW tunable laser to produce solitary pulses at precise wavelength. To the best of our knowledge, this has never been done before.
We analyze transition from amplified spontaneous emission to Q-switched lasing in InGaN laser with absorber. We find narrow region that requires us to evoke cooperative recombination of two electron-hole pairs in X or ? configuration.
A fabrication technology to create reinforced nanoporous membranes of 60 nm thick is described. The technology uses a variety of micromachining processes to form a reinforced membrane. Block copolymer micelle formation is used to define the pores 20 to 30 nm in diameter that are subsequently etched in the membrane using Deep Reactive Ion Etching (DRIE). The membrane is made of a silicon nitride polysilicon...
The first results of silicon microphones that are completely batch-packaged and integrated with signal conditioning circuitry in a chip stack are discussed. The chip stack is designed to be directly mounted into a system, such as a hearing instrument, without further single-chip handling or wire bonding. The devices are fully encapsulated and provided with a well-determined interface to the environment...
