Based on the DEA model, this article studies the benefit of talents training in the 68 universities directly under Chinese Ministry of Education, analyses relative efficiency of talents training and returns to scale after several years' enrolment expansion. And the paper discusses the differences in talents training according to the geographical distribution and school type of universities. The research...
The form-noticing language learners show in the language output and feedback is the key to improving the quality of output. While form-noticing has been increasingly researched by many language teachers, effects of proficiency and sex and its impact on subsequent learning in the context of EFL writing have not been fully investigated through data mining. This study examined EFL students' English vocabulary...
An anionic MgAlNO3 layered double hydroxides (MgAlNO3-LDH) with Mg/Al molar ratio 4∶1, was investigated for its ability to adsorb an anionic dye, Reactive Orange 16 (RO16), with the objective of evaluating its suitability as an adsorbent. The experimental data were analyzed by the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models. Equilibrium data fitted well with Langmuir model for the concentration range...
The steady advance and healthful development of new countryside construction must depend on the scientific planning. The planning must be based on the correct, complete and good-currency status maps. Aiming to the urgent needs in practice, four approaches to producing status base maps, including integrated approach, generalized approach, updated approach and real-surveyed approach, are comparatively...
Data Mining can find out the hidden important information in mass data, whose main purpose is to help decision-makers to look for the potential relevance between the data, to find out neglected elements, and make decision based on these models automatically. This paper, based on the discussion of data mining, analyzes the framework of enterprise decision support system, designs the enterprise decision...
Based on the elastic and plastic theory, Three-dimension milling Finite Element Method model is established in this thesis, which can be used in the machining deformation field analysis. This model simulates the process of material cutting off, which uses the technology of element die and birth. The machining deformation law is researched resulted by the release of residual stress in milling process...
A causality checker is developed and used to validate and improve S-parameter data computed with a commercial 3D electromagnetic simulator. Improved data quality as shown by the causality checker is demonstrated to fix a flawed SerDes link simulation and an impedance extraction based on a TDR simulation. It is demonstrated that simple examination of the S-parameters cannot differentiate between good...
The creation of a physically-consistent broadband material model is necessary to ensure that measured permittivity values are causal. The Debye and Fröhlich models are compared and evaluated for accuracy in the characterization of FR-4 material.
The measured value of the 2.176 MeV 238U Nuclear Resonance Fluorescence (NRF) peak count rate were compared with simulation results. The simulation methods studied include GEANT4, MCNP5 and MCNPX. The simulation results were found out to be consistent but one order of magnitude higher than the measured value. The possible reasons for this discrepancy were discussed.
In geology the simulation of the sedimention process deposition is very used on different kind of studies. However a great problem is to get the information without destroy the architecture of the deposited material (since now named testimonial). Usually they do slice the real sample and they take pictures of it. However this technique is too aggressive (invasive) and usually cause damage to the testimonial...
The development of a package for the management of physics data is described: its design, implementation and computational benchmarks. This package improves the data management tools originally developed for Geant4 physics models based on the EADL, EEDL and EPDL97 data libraries. The implementation exploits recent evolutions of the C++ libraries appearing in the C++0x draft, which are intended for...
Norris-Landzberg acceleration model, only applying the conditions of the temperature cycling tests such as temperature range, maximum of temperature and cycle times, has been widely using to predict the lifetimes of electronic packages since 1969, due to its simplicity not considering complex damage information such as stress-strain relationships. During the last few years, a number of researches...
This paper examines the initial parallel implementation of SCATTER, a computationally intensive inelastic neutron scattering routine with polycrystalline averaging capability, for the General Utility Lattice Program (GULP). Of particular importance to structural investigation on the atomic scale, this work identifies the computational features of SCATTER relevant to a parallel implementation and presents...
Advancements in real-time surgical simulation techniques have provided the ability to utilize more complex nonlinear constitutive models for biological tissues which result in increased haptic and graphic accuracy. When developing such a model, verification is necessary to determine the accuracy of the force response as well as the magnitude of tissue deformation for tool-tissue interactions. In this...
Determination of project completion time is crucial for considerable number of projects, especially for the time-terminated ones. Experience showed that it is not enough to use standard network planning methods (CPM/PERT) only, particularly for stochastic projects like research and development ones. In this paper, the project time determination is based on superposition for defined network diagram...
Linear unmixing is a blind source separation problem that decomposes a hyperspectral image into the spectra of the material constituents of the scene and the abundance maps of those materials across that scene. A novel method for determining the material spectra from within the scene, AGES, is proposed based on the positional information contained within abundances generated by additivity-constrained...
The information integration model which includes all the knowledge in the manufacture phase of produce is very significant for produce manufacture. In the study, the construction of information integration model based on the design knowledge of product is presented to gain manufacture information completely and fast. Firstly, the information integration model is introduced, and the transformation...
Recently, much effort has been put in the simulation of charge transport in organic materials and more and more sophisticated models with an increasing number of parameters are developed. In this paper, we show which models are necessary and applicable for the drift-diffusion modeling of IV curves of multilayer solar cells. For comparison to experiment, a data series of small molecule organic solar...
Shrinkage error will impact the results obtained from the observation data when studying subsidence by the method of similar material simulation experiment. Using digital industrial close-range photogrammetry system in the experiment, high-precision observational data is collected. By comparative analysis on the subsidence of the points at different locations, we obtained the distribution law of shrinkage...
This paper describes a novel compound Markov random field model capable of realistic modelling of multispectral bidirectional texture function, which is currently the most advanced representation of visual properties of surface materials. The proposed compound Markov random field model combines a non-parametric control random field with analytically solvable wide sense Markov representation for single...
