Automatic steel pipe end-facing chamfering machine is the key equipment of the pipe production line and the automatic feed mechanism is an important part of it. In this paper, the ADAMS software is applied to the optimization design of the automatic feed mechanism. After optimization, the maximum lifting and propulsive forces are reduced by 59.9% and 67.7% respectively which saves energy significantly.
Optimization of wheel loader is a multipurpose and multivariable design process. The virtual prototype of working device of loader was built and the optimization of overall performance was finished based on virtual typing technology. Firstly, the parametric model was established and the simulation results were analyzed. Secondly, design study was carried out and the most important design variables...
In view of the independence and disagreement of each index in the groundwater quality evaluating, projection pursuit evaluating model is applied to groundwater quality evaluation, and real coding based accelerating genetic algorithm is introduced to optimize the projection direction so that multi-dimension data can be turned into low dimension space. The value of projection function can be calculated...
Environmental impact assessment has an important influence on project decision. Based on the fuzzy matter element theory and information entropy theory, entropy fuzzy matter-element model has been established, which is used to evaluate the good or bad of schemes. Taking scheme selection of highway as an example, the evaluation results show that the model can effectively eliminate the impact of man-made...
A method to determine C,γ , the hyper-parameters, range for Radial Basis Function Support Vector Machines (RBF SVMs) is proposed. The γ range is determined by the extreme Squared Euclidean Distance (SED) quantiles of the training set, and the C range is determined by one pass whole training set training decreasingly along logγmax to the over-regularized limit first and increasingly along logγmedian...
In recent years, people begin to pay more attention to the efficiency and low cost of operation of manufacturing material department, and make each subsystem more perfect. This paper aims to study the optimal management of logistics system in manufacturing entreprise. Based on analysis of the current situation in the manufacturing enterprise's logistics management, this paper points out the existing...
This paper studies the loading problems of Multi-category Goods under the limited loading capacity. According to the characteristics of model, hybrid heuristic algorithm is used to get the optimization solution. Firstly, adopt binary code so as to make the problem more succinctly. On the basis of cubage-weight balance algorithm, construct initial solution to improve the feasibility. Through adopting...
With respect to the multiplicative complementary judgement matrix, n groups of approximate weight vectors are given by considering the judgement informations in detail provided by decision makers (DMs) in this paper. And some information aggregation operators are used to aggregate these approximate weight vectors according to the credibility degree of alternatives into judgements defined in this paper,...
In this paper, an optimization is reported for the determination of time response (Tr) and power (P) of Electric Vehicle. The electric constant of back-electromotive-force, stator d- and q- axes inductances, switching period, battery voltage, stator resistance and torque gear ratio were selected as factors being able to influence the Tr and P. The optimization process was carried out with Doehlert...
While analog part of the integrated circuit covers 10% of its area its design takes 90% of the time needed to design the whole circuit. Therefore analog synthesis is very hot topic at present. It can save enormous part of the design time. This paper presents work on novel analog synthesis tool capable of choosing circuit architecture and to size its devices by optimization to meet the design specification...
This paper presents an optimization methodology for continuous time loop-filters design applied to Class-D amplifiers. The methodology is based on an evolutionary optimization approach which integrates both the topology selection and circuit sizing by automatically generating optimal sized topologies and performance tradeoffs for the Class-D amplifier. The presented approach is demonstrated for the...
In order to solve two major bottlenecks of the analog design flow: the time-to-market and the production yield, we introduce in this paper a design tool for measuring the robustness capability of the analog circuit topologies with the guarantee of fulfilling all the design specifications. With this measure, we can describe the feasible subspace by using the set inversion algorithm. A robustness estimation...
The constraints to manage in a telecom splitter design are numerous and according to a given splitter structure, the choice became difficult. The paper proposes a software tool allowing the design of such filters. This one carries out the modelling of the electrical circuit configurations, and creates the corresponding computation code, used for simulation or optimisation. The methodology is detailed...
We say an algorithm on n × n matrices with entries in [-M, M] (or n-node graphs with edge weights from [-M, M]) is truly subcubic if it runs in O(n3-δ - poly(log M)) time for some δ > 0. We define a notion of subcubic reducibility, and show that many important problems on graphs and matrices solvable in O(n3) time are equivalent under subcubic reductions. Namely, the following weighted problems...
Reliability and/or availability are increasingly important aspects in the design of systems, especially networks and service offerings. Optimization here is a multi-criteria process finding the right compromise between cost and quality. At the same time, results should be explored online, either as part of interactive, user-centric design tools or for Web based service negotiation. In this paper we...
Stochastic search algorithms are often robust, scalable problem solvers. In this paper, we carefully study the Iterative Sampling(IS), Heuristic-Biased Stochastic Sampling(HBSS) and Value-Biased Stochastic Sampling(VBSS) algorithm, and present an approach for enhancing such multi-start algorithms. This paper shows that given some heuristic information about the search start point, these algorithms...
A systematic design methodology for low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) is introduced. This methodology follows a bottom-up approach that employs a multi-objective evolutionary optimization algorithm, which is used at two levels. First, it is used to generate Pareto-based performance models for integrated planar inductors. To do so, an electromagnetic simulator that takes into account the inductor's layout,...
This paper presents a novel algorithm for multiobjective training of Radial Basis Function (RBF) networks based on least-squares and Particle Swarm Optimization methods. The formulation is based on the fundamental concept that supervised learning is a bi-objective optimization problem, in which two conflicting objectives should be minimized. The objectives are related to the empirical training error...
We give the first black-box reduction from arbitrary approximation algorithms to truthful approximation mechanisms for a non-trivial class of multi-parameter problems. Specifically, we prove that every packing problem that admits an FPTAS also admits a truthful-in-expectation randomized mechanism that is an FPTAS. Our reduction makes novel use of smoothed analysis, by employing small perturbations...
The basic objective of economic dispatch of electric power generation is to schedule the committed generating unit outputs so as to meet the load demand at minimum operating cost while satisfying all unit and system equality and inequality constraints. Due to increasing concern over the environmental considerations, society demands adequate and secure electricity not only at the cheapest possible...
