Fluid hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen at very high pressures and temperatures demonstrate high conductivity close to the so-called “minimum metal conductivity”. Electrophysical properties of these liquids in the semi-conducting transition region are practically unknown. In this work a simple model is used for estimating the bottom energy of the electron conduction band and the electron-forbidden gap...
By means of increasing the doping level of thermodiode base the silicon p 2+ n + -type temperature sensors have been attained whose response curves do not exhibit the kinks in the cryogenic temperature range. The effect is connected with the suppression of freezing out of carriers to impurities in the diode base. It results in lowering of base resistance below junction one. Mechanisms...
The paper presents a model of the polymer film dielectric-metal transition under a small external influence. The conductive pulse propagation along the polymer thread has a soliton nature. The polymer film current-voltage characteristic is obtained on the basis of the described model.
