This paper, which based on the assumption of product market demand price-dependent and random deviation, makes models respectively to discuss the optimal strategy in the cooperation and non-cooperation conditions between the supplier and the retailer, which is how to determine the most superior wholesale price of the suppliers optimal order quantity of the retailers and retail price. Suppliers, which...
This paper analyzes the reason that the standard buy-back contracts can not coordinate supply chain when suppliers allow retailers to lower prices, and an encouraging buy-back contract is proposed to coordinate the supply chain. The contract allows supplier to coordinate supply chain again only by adjusting the buy-back price. Finally, a numerical analysis is given to verify these results.
In a consignment contract between manufacturer and retailers, the manufacturer determines the final price and the sales channel and make the choice of whether adding a direct channel or not. Based on the framework of Stackelberg game, we analyze the optimal channel choice and pricing of manufacturer under environment of stochastic demand. We find the manufacturer will benefit from adding a direct...
It is normally that the enterprises have partial demand information about the single-period products due to the short sales period and quickly demand changes. Under price-dependent demand, the demand uncertainty will be larger. In this paper, the maximum entropy formulism is employed to establish a model to find the most possible distribution. Then it discusses the independent inventory decision and...
Against the issue about revenue maximization of cycle project product, apply ideas of game balance, base on a single product manufacturers and retailers in closed-loop system, study when recycling waste products, decentralized decision-making model and a joint pricing strategies of enterprises; In considering the environmental costs of products, proposed differential pricing policy model in product...
A Service supply chain occurs when a service provider outsources part of the service to a supplier. In service supply chains, as supplier offers service directly to final customers, it's hard for service provider to monitor or measure supplier's work. For this reason, the service provider has to offer an incentive mechanism to the supplier. This paper studies the optimal incentive mechanism in the...
This paper studies in a two level supply chain composed of one manufacturer and multiple retailers, how participants cooperate to enhance the chain's value. Assuming the manufacturer produces to orders with only one equipment and retailers face fixed market demands, the paper first analyzes the chaos in the EOQ policy, then proposes a new coordinate model, as is called 'the ideal ordering model' to...
This paper is concerned with the study of linear rebate contracts as applied in supply chain from the supplier's perspective. Consider a supply chain comprised of a retailer and a supplier and the customer demands stochastically dependent on the retail price. The retailer's optimal policy for setting the retail price is first investigated. We then develop the optimal decision of the supplier and prove...
The decision models of closed loop supply chain (CLSC) that is composed of one manufacturer and one retailer with product remanufacturing under hybrid recycle strategy was built. The whole-sale price and transfer recycling price were considered as the decision-making variables of the manufacturer, and the recycling price as the decision-making variable of the party undertaking the recycling effort...
This paper investigates a single-period supply chain model with competing loss-averse retailers who decide their pricing and order quantity simultaneously. Firstly, the unimodality property of the retailer's expected utility and the uniqueness property of its decisions are studied under non-competing circumstances. In comparison to a risk-neutral retailer, a loss-averse retailer orders less and charges...
