We present an analog implementation of a dynamical system for solving Boolean satisfiability, an NP-complete problem. Simulations of modest-sized hardware implementations in the presence of noise and integrator offset demonstrate that the algorithm is suitable for implementation in analog electronics.
Qucs and QucsStudio open source circuit simulators have a wealth of built in swept data features, including facilities for linear and logarithmic scans of simulation variables and for setting component values and device parameters. These simulators also allow semicolon separated lists of numerical values to be used as swept data. This little known feature provides a very flexible mechanism for generating...
Analog circuit design is often based on a large number of simulations which strongly depends on the mastery of CAD tools and competence of the designer. In this context, the automated design of analog architectures becomes a necessity of design to solve the problem of simulation time. More importantly, accelerating the design cycle of the analog block, taking into account many constraints and finally...
A low-power quaternary comparator circuit using current-mode CMOS multiple-valued logic (MVL) circuits has been presented in this paper. Existing MVL comparator circuits consume high power. The circuit presented in this paper has been shown low power digital output. It has been simulated with PSPICE using the transistor model parameter values of the BSIM3 NMOS model V3.2 for 0.13 μm CMOS process....
The paper presents a comprehensive approach of the fuzzy logic gates/circuits from both technological and circuit analysis point of view, using SPICE simulation, based on computing the sensitivities of current mirrors with n and p-channel MOS-FET (using units or tens microns for L and W parameters). CMOS technology has been recognized as the technology for implementing fuzzy logic gates/circuits in...
A Triangular and trapezoidal transconductor circuits with a Programmable slope (keeping constant height or constant width and making the other variable) and also horizontal position are presented. Triangular and trapezoidal function generators have many applications like high speed folding analog-to-digital convertors, a piecewise-linear approximation and also used in fuzzy controller. PSPICE simulation...
In this paper, the characteristics of the basic current mirror and the continuous-time current-mode current mirror integrator are analyzed. Using the two unlossy loop integrators and the basic current mirrors, the biquad circuit block is implemented. The signal flow graph (SFG) and the improved leap-frog (ILF) structure are simple to implement the six-order band pass filters. Exploring PSPICE9.1 simulation...
