Transparent and electrically conductive (TCO) thin films of ZnO:Al, ZnO:Ga and ZnO:Sc, used in solar cells as well as optoelectronic devices, have been successfully deposited by rf magnetron sputter deposition using ZnO(98%) / X2O3(2%) ceramic target, X ∈{Al, Ga, Sc}, in the inert atmosphere of argon. In this contribution we focused on the changes in physical properties and their comparison in dependence...
GaNSb films on the N-rich side have been grown on sapphire substrate at various growth temperatures by MOCVD. The optical properties of the grown films were characterized by absorption spectroscopy and increased absorption below band gap energy was observed for GaNSb grown at 770 degC.
InN thin films were grown by reactive magnetron sputtering in a UHV system, using Ar and N2 as working gases. Electrical and optical investigations of the films were correlated with their structural and morphological characteristics in order to obtain good quality films for THz applications.
Interference filters are multilayer thin-film devices in which thin :layers of material have a thickness of the order of wavelength of light. Thin films of dielectrics as well as metals have been nice candidates for the purpose of interference filters for a long time. In the present paper thin films of silver and zinc oxide have been deposited by thermal evaporation technique on the glass substrate...
Multilayer hybrid thin films consisting of alternating layers of organic and inorganic materials were fabricated with powder of copper-phthalocyanine (CuPc) and zinc selenide (ZnSe) by electron beam evaporator. The structural and optical characterization of multilayer hybrid thin film were carried out by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscope (AFM) and UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy...
