International Journal of Energy and Water Resources (IJEWR) is a quarterly publication affiliated to Iranian Society of Environmentalists (IRSEN) in cooperation with Islamic Azad University Science and Research Branch, which has been established for promotion of environmental knowledge qualitatively. IJEWR has an extra emphasis on high scientific quality and will choose the most qualified research works on peer reviewing. The authors should submit their papers through the Journal Online submission system. The submitted papers can be published after peer reviewing, consequent revisions and final acceptance. The policy of the Journal is to select the most qualified papers and to accelerate the overall reviewing process, so that the authors can be informed about the outcome at soonest. Peer review is conducted using Editorial Manager®, supported by a database of international experts. This database is shared with the International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology.

Phenol degradation experiments were performed to study the potential behavior of the acidic Lake Caviahue (LC) as a dark Fenton reactor under natural conditions and upon H2O2 addition at doses typically used for technological applications. In both cases, to assess the influence of dissolved organic matter present in the lake, control experiments were carried out under identical initial conditions...

A comprehensive understanding of wastewater characteristics is vital in the design and operation of collection, treatment, and disposal facilities and the engineering management of environmental quality. Municipal wastewater generated from the Federal University of Technology, Akure and discharged untreated was determined for feasible irrigation reuse. In this study, physicochemical (odour, temperature,...

Water, energy, and food are the fundamental resources for improving living conditions and sustainable development. Because substantial interdependencies and relationships exist among these three sectors, the word nexus between water–energy–food is being used to indicate the importance of managing them together and not in isolation. This paper reviews and analyzes the current status of water–energy–food...
