The work presented in this paper is concerned with the identification of switched linear systems from input-output data. The main challenge with this problem is that the data are available only as a mixture of observations generated by a finite set of different interacting linear subsystems so that one does not know a priori which subsystem has generated which data. To overcome this difficulty, we...
This paper deals with the development of image occupancy grid map based on image matching by cross correlation method from laser range finder (LRF) data and goes on to develop an algorithm for robust pose estimation of a mobile robot in the static environment. Scan represents, here, a set of range measurements of the features transformed into a binary image in the environment provided by a laser range...
This paper discusses six most frequent methods used to extract different features in Electrocardiograph (ECG) signals namely Autoregressive (AR), Wavelet Transform (WT), Eigenvector, Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Linear Prediction (LP), and Independent Component Analysis (ICA). The study reveals that Eigenvector method gives better performance in frequency domain for the ECG feature extraction.
In this paper a modified simple edge preserved denoising algorithm to remove salt and pepper noise in digital color images is presented. The algorithm has three steps: noisy pixel detection, replacement of noisy pixels, confirmation by comparing with a threshold. In additon a median filtering is added to improve the qualityof the image. The proposed algorithm prevents the smoothing of edges in the...
