Low-speed sliding test of Cu-Ni-Sn based composite material contacts containing WS2 Recently, the development of sliding contacts having low resistivity is low as well as have mechanical strength is required. In this study, sliding tests was carried out on 3 kinds of new composite material containing lamellar solid lubricant (QWS2 etc.) in the Cu-Sn-Ni alloy. The results showed that excellent sliding characteristics was displayed by composite materials of Cu-Ni, 52 wt.% compared with other composite materials. In this study, contact resistance and coefficient of friction were examined, centering on composite materials of which 3 kinds of composition differed.
