This paper presents VLSI education system applied in under graduate and graduate program in Institut Teknologi Bandung. The program focuses on giving the ability to the students in designing a high performance integrated circuits (IC) using advanced EDA Tools. The VLSI education course covers from system architecture design up to IC physical design implementation. The contribution of research institutes, industries, and government play an important role in improving educational systems. This program is designed to provide a large number of talented IC designers, to increase start-up companies in IC design and finally to establish a microelectronics industry ecosystem in Indonesia.
