The 1990s will probably be remembered as the decade in which companies, for various reasons, looked at conducting the company's business through crossfunctional terms to improve the company's productivity and ability to compete internationally. The paper presents a simple description of a basic system of managing behaviors needed by people who work together in teams to satisfy the needs of their customers. This method of management is called the project-management method. The management notions presented are not new. Rather, the paper simplifies and provides a basic system or framework into which almost all trendy and special treatments conveniently fit.
