In this essay the authoress tries to answer if there is a connection between early and late philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein as far as the problem of the aim of philosophy is concerned. Because of radical change of his view on the nature of language, the only possible field of comparison is the result of logical and grammatical analyses, which have to be compared separately. The result of doing philosophy in the manner of 'Tractatus' is the right way of life which Wittgenstein understands as making peace with the world (agreement with everything what happens to us). This stoic aim philosophy is absent in late philosophy of Wittgenstein but if the aim of grammatical analysis is to be described as 'understanding which always has been here' - the link between early and late philosophy can be specified as the come back to the world which we previously do not understand because of not understanding the way our language works. We accept the world we live in on the basis of understanding which we gain doing philosophy in the right manner.
