Stackelberg games are non-symmetric games where one player or specified group of players have the privilege position and make decision before the other players. Such games are used in telecommunication and computational systems for supporting administrative decisions. Recently Stackleberg games became useful also in the systems where security issues are the crucial decision criteria. In this paper...
Task scheduling and resource allocation are the crucial issues in any large scale distributed system, such as Computational Grids (CGs). However, traditional computational models and resolution methods cannot effectively tackle the complex nature of Grid, where the resources and users belong to many administrative domains with their own access policies, users' privileges, etc. Recently, researchers...
In this paper we define the decision making problem for water resource systems with external disagreement of interests as an n-person non-cooperative game. Solving this decision problem is equivalent to the Nash equilibria detection for the game. We apply the parallel evolutionary strategy HGSNash to detect these equilibrium points. The paper ends with some simple numerical results and conclusions
We present a parallel hierarchical evolutionary strategy HGSNash as a new method of detecting the Nash equilibria in n-person non-cooperative games. The problem of finding the equilibrium points is formulated as a global optimization problem. A definition of the strategy and results of some simple numerical experiments are also included.
