Background The age-related dysfunction of glucose and lipid metabolism has a long-standing relationship with cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disease. However, the effects of metabolic dysfunction on men and women are different. Reasons for these sex differences remains unclear. Cynomolgus monkeys have been used, in the past, for the study of human metabolic diseases due to their biologically...
This paper studies the transmission characteristics of SH0 wave in flat steel by changing the slope of groove shape defect. The result shows that the smaller the defect slope is, the weaker the reflected signal received is. The reflected signal even can't be recognized when it is so weak that it will be submerged in the noise signal.
The paper introduces the study research on the SH0's transmission ability in the grounding flat steel, the effects of structural parameters and modalities and the capability of testing defects of SH0. The experimental results show that SH0 waves have a strong transmission ability in flat steel. A maximum depth of 90cm in the soil can be detected. It is expected that the ultrasonic guided-wave SH0...
