To begin with, we discuss the combination between Grid and DSS; then construct a spatial river basin decision support system base on information Grid; and then study it in detail; finally focus our attention on decision-making models.
Most river basin administrative departments have not established their own emergency response systems. So, a nationwide water pollution emergency response system was designed for them and relevant government departments which is based on GIS, web, DSS, visualization, simulation, etc.
Though water pollution control and prevention technologies have made a great progress, most polluting enterprises even have never heard of them, not to mention use them. So we design an technologies sharing model based on information Grid, and focus our discussion on the process of searching and invoking the wanted technologies with mobile agents.
