Based on the sinusoidal pulse width modulation technology and regular sampling method, the switching time points calculation formulas of tangent method and secant method are established. This paper analyses the precision of switching turn-on and turn-off time point, and compare these switching time points. Calculation results show that SPWM pulses generated by tangent method and secant method are...
This paper presents a Switch-Linear Hybrid (SLH) power amplifier whose idea is originated from conventional class B linear power amplifier instead of the most commonly used switching power amplifier. The linear power unit of the SLH power amplifier is fed by dynamic tracking power supplies to boost the efficiency of the linear power unit without scarifying any virtues of linear power amplifier. Therefore,...
In this paper, an overview of recent advances in digital control of low to medium power DC/DC switching converters is presented. Traditionally, such DC/DC converters have been almost exclusively controlled through analog electronics methods. However, with the steadily decreasing cost of integrated circuits, the feasibility of digitally controlled DC/DC switching converters has increased significantly...
A novel switch-linear hybrid (SLH) post regulator is proposed in this paper. The SLH post regulator can be used in multiple outputs switching power converters for getting good regulation of all their output voltages. Theoretical analysis suggests that it has good regulation, low drop-out, low output ripple and strong load robustness. These advantages are verified by simulation and experimental results.
A double forward multiple output converter with weighted time-sharing control and switch-linear hybrid (WTSC-SLH) technique is presented in this paper. Total regulation of both output voltages is obtained by WTSC. Precise regulation and low ripple multiple output voltage can be achieved by a post regulator with SLH approach. The effects of WTSC-SLH is verified on an experimental two-output double...
