A computer simulation model of the dynamics of elongation of fabric sample and development of breaking of warp in it due to increase in initial random variations in the structure and properties of the warp and weft yarn system is proposed. The model clearly shows that the reasons for the sample breakup are inevitable initial differences (variations) in the properties of the yarns and their arrangement...
We propose a computer model for elongation of a rectangular fabric sample until breakdown of its structure and failure. We show the difference between failure in the fabric and failure of samples of continuous media, and we establish the fundamentally important role in this process of random variations in the parameters of the warp and weft yarns and their interaction.
