This article describes the use of coke of the Premium class on blast furnace No. 5 at the Enakievo Metallurgical Plant. It is shown that the use of this coke has increased furnace productivity by 5.7–6.9% and reduced the consumption of skip and nut coke by 3.2–4.1%.
