This paper investigates user generated Muslim travel photos in the understudied Arab World. In June 2009, Flickr had over 8,000 Muslim travel photos for Arab countries. Content analysis on 589 photos revealed that males surpassed females in posting photos and nearly two-thirds of the photos showed human presence.
