In this paper, we present both theoretical and experimental analysis of erbium-doped fiber amplifier for delay-line optoelectronic oscillator. Theoretical investigation of erbium-doped fiber amplifier is performed by means of numerical model based on two-level approximation of active medium. The erbium-doped fiber amplifier design optimized for delay-line optoelectronic oscillator is demonstrated...
In this paper, we present both theoretical and experimental analysis of delay-line all-optical gain optoelectronic oscillator. The experimental study of oscillation amplitude, oscillation power time stability, and spectrum is provided. Double Rayleigh scattering in the optical fiber and signal-spontaneous beating noise of erbium-doped fiber amplifier, and dynamical instabilities are investigated numerically.
