In this paper, the impact of electromagnetic wave packets onto a layered plate-shaped structure is computationally modelled, where the layers posses a nonlinear material behaviour. The work deals with layered or periodic nonlinear media. For such structures, a condition of phase synchronism of the scattered and generated oscillations is formulated. Results of numerical experiments for the case of absolutely transparent (in the linear approximation) cubically polarizable layered media are explained.
This paper presents results of the numerical analysis characterizing the scattering and generation properties of nonlinear layered structures. Two-sided acting fields at the scattering frequency were taken into account and a type-conversion of the oscillations could be observed.
