A pattern reconfigurable high-gain wide-angle antennas using MESFET switch is presented. The proposed antenna is based on a new antenna structure like Chinese character “***”. The measured synthesis of half-power beam width is about 105° in both E plane and H plane while keeping the antenna low side-lobe level and high gain at 6dBi, in good agreement with the simulated results.
A novel dual-sleeve broadband antenna for 2G/3G/4G mobile communications is presented. By using end-loaded technology the input impedance of the designed antenna is decreased and the bandwidth of the antenna is expanded. The operating frequency of dual-sleeve antenna is 0.8GHz to 2.7GHz, where the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is less than 1.5. A prototype is constructed and tested, which shows...
This paper proposed a dual-sleeve broadband omnidirectional antenna based on end-loaded technology. The input impedance of the designed antenna is reduced due to the end-loaded technology and the special dual-sleeve structure, which effectively increase the bandwidth of the antenna. The operating frequency of the dual-sleeve broadband antenna based on end-loaded technology ranges from 57 MHz to 103...
