A compact and low-profile wideband circularly polarized slot antenna fed by coplanar waveguide and microstrip line is proposed. The proposed structures are optimized with a parametric study and the simulated results show that the proposed design offers the impedance bandwidths of about 32.6% and 27.3% separately and the 3-dB axial-ratio bandwidths of about 31.1%.
In this paper, an enhanced frequency and pattern reconfigurable antenna for portable device is proposed. The proposed antenna consists of an excitation element, four parasitic elements and eight radio frequency switches.
