To deal with potential risk existing in railway crossings, a new type of dual intelligent safety alarming system based on PLC is studied and presented in this paper. This system can receive signals of running direction and location of trains and guarantee safety of passing vehicles and pedestrians by means of giving alarms with light and sound. Finally, the feasibility and effectivity is illustrated.
