In this paper, an adjustable microstrip slot antenna using graphene stacks is designed for terahertz applications. And the graphene stacks consist of graphene/Al2O3 sheets, which are embedded in the microstrip substrate of the proposed antenna. According to simulation result, the frequency resonant bandwidth and radiation of the novel antenna can be dynamically modulated under different chemical potential.
A half-mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) omnidirectional slot antenna is proposed for the first time by integrating four narrow wall radiating slot antenna elements and a four-way power divider. The slot antenna element realises energy radiation from the open side of the HMSIW by etching several pairs of transversal slots both on the upper and the lower surfaces of the HMSIW and alternately...
Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) is a new kind of microwave transmission structure appeared in recent years. The SIW technique makes it possible that a complete circuit including planar circuitry, transition, and rectangular waveguide are fabricated in a planar form using a standard printed circuit board (PCB). From analysis of the susceptance of symmetrical window and designing process of Chebyshev...
