Time-harmonic plane wave scattering in 2-D elastic body with partially debonded fiber of nonclassical cross-sections is investigation. The modified null-field method under taking into account the asymptotic behaviour of the solution at the interface crack tips is exploited for obtaining the numerical results.
The null-field method has been adapted to the problems of flexural waves scattering on rigid through inclusions in a thin plate. The magnitude of the backscattered far field for inclusions of elliptic and triangular form with rounded corners has been analyzed numerically.
