The PPICS (Pressure Pulsed Induced Critical Scattering) apparatus has been used in conjunction with the light scattering theory of Debye and Scholte to investigate the spinodal and binodal characteristics of the 2-butoxyethanol + water system in pressure-temperature-composition space.
