Based on the wave vector-dependent susceptibility χ(Q) calculated in terms of the high-temperature series expansion, frustration effects are discussed in the critical temperature region for a 2D square lattice with up to third-neighbor coupling (J 1 -J 2 -J 3 model). The possibility of the existence of the spin liquid state is suggested.
