Surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors fabricated on high-temperature piezoelectric substrates can be applied as harsh-environment oxygen sensors. In this paper we report recent results on the stability of the response of ZnO/ langasite SAW sensors. We also describe the development of conjugate-matched compact antennas for wireless sensing.
