This paper presents a description of the concepts and functionalities of the DOSMOS-Trace monitoring tool. The designing choices lead us to introduce the concepts of Event Manager Processes and Meta-Objects. It allows to keep a good scalability of the system but also to get a low intrusive monitoring tool.
