The results from an experimental study of the diffraction profiles of magnetostatic backward volume waves (MSBVW) excited by a finite linear transducer placed on the surface of tangentially magnetized ferrite film in a dielectric–ferrite–dielectric structure are presented. Theoretical calculations and experimental data are compared.
The results of synthesis of mode waveguide converters (MWC) on double-ridged waveguides with stepped-irregular ridges are presented. The parameters of multimodal scattering matrix for mode conversion in double-ridged waveguide are calculated. It is used the electromagnetic fields and the cutoff wavenumbers of double-ridged waveguide, which are determined using the method of partial regions including...
The results of experimental investigation of diffraction profiles of magnetostatic backward volume waves (MSBVW) exited by the linear transducer with finite length located at the surface of ferrite-dielectric structure are presented. The comparison of experimental data obtained and theoretical calculations is reported.
The solution for the diffraction problem of scattering of magnetostatic waves by an arbitrary shallow defect situated under the surface of a ferromagnetic film magnetized at an arbitrary angle is obtained in the quasi-static approximation. Expressions for the energy flux density of scattered magnetostatic waves in the far-field zone are found.
