In this study, we propose a plasmonic free-space filter with dual resonance wavelength by using an asymmetric T-shaped array. The structure under the T-shaped structure forms two metal/insulator/metal cavities with different cavity length. Each cavity supports a specific resonance wavelength. A notch filter for second harmonic generation Nd:YAG laser is also proposed. The filter offers two resonance...
In this paper, the transmission type plasmonic multilayer filter was theoretically investigated. The design role of the resonance properties associated with the weakly localized surface Plasmon modes was discussed. Through geometric parameters of the metal/insulator/metal waveguide, the optical properties of the filter can be engineered.
