The article deals with the power flow control device (PFCD) development in the power distribution 6–20 kV networks. The PFCD prototype was used to make switching process experiments and stationary operating conditions tests at longitudinal, transversal and longitudinal-transversal voltage regulation. The research results confirmed the PFCD circuitry effectiveness.
