This paper describes an approach with reconfigurable thinning array in order to reject sidelobe interference or suppress interference for satellite antennas application. With the remaining active elements Reconfiguration, the thinned array can decrease the peak sidelobe level or place a null in the direction of interference.
This letter discusses the problem of Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation for two-dimension antenna array, and derives a reduced-dimension multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm therein. The proposed algorithm, which only requires one dimension search, can avoid the high computational cost within two-dimension MUSIC (2D-MUSIC) algorithm. We illustrate that the algorithm has very close performance...
This paper determines the number of elements required for the phased array fed dual reflector antenna system for limited scan coverage under the condition of grating lobe-free in real-space. The design results of radiation performance of the dual reflector antenna with direct radiation phased-array feed are introduced according to the key specifications of antenna at Ka-band.
