In this paper recent concepts in the area of electrography is presented. The problem of modern ECG devices is considered. The solution to the problem is proposed. A comparison of the known ECG sensors was carried out.
This work is dedicated to an analysis of existing electromyography methods. It was investigated that EMG-examination allows estimating the degree of muscle tension and the bioelectrical structure of generated tension, as well.
This paper is devoted to approaches and algorithms for fluid mesh rotation in mechanical models of a living cell. Described algorithms are designed to prevent FEM mesh from twisting and self-intersection in numerical simulation of a rotating fluid mesh, which provide means for modeling a wider range of solid and shell rotations.
This paper is devoted to the modeling of biological cells deformation in microfluidic systems. The background and purposes of development of the mechanical model of the living biological cell to improve modelling and computer aided design of microfluidic devices for bio-analysis and diagnostics were described.
In this paper software for processing an output signal from microfluidic devices with optical detection is presented. Such microdevices (lab-chips) are utilized e.g. in rapid analysis of DNA, proteins and cells and mainly utilize fluorometric detection technique. Here we present dedicated software for smart signal processing and automatic recognition of fluorescence in silicon-glass and entirely glass...
This paper is devoted to introduce a concept of software tool for modeling of thermal properties of microfluidic devices based on geometrical analogy of multi-layered composite heterostructure. The analysis is present it in a form of a computational problem and considers different available approaches for each step of the solution.
Fluorimetric detection is widely utilized in analytical applications including pathogen detection, clinical diagnosis and DNA analysis. This method combined with lab-on-a-chip (LOC) technique provides new class of miniature and ultrasensitive bioanalytical tools and therefore new solutions are being widely developed. We present new measurement set-up for lab-on-a-chip fluorimetric detection which...
Diagnostic Lab-Chip devices contains multiphase and multicomponent biochemical mixtures. For its simulation we propose multiscale flow model, which consist of macro-, meso-and micro-scale submodels. Hybrid Galerkin FEM algorithm was used solving model equations and obtain simulation results.
The presentation describes multiscale model for typical microfluidic flow, which depicts microfluidics behaviour on macro-, meso- and micro- levels, and represents the hybrid finite-element method for its solution.
In this paper the authors presented two types of microfluidic cantilever devices and analyzed their models. Cantilever devices were simulated with the help of regular CAD tools, which shows high potential applications of both models.
Virtual prototyping with 3D drawing programs provides a means of rapidly developing system concepts and analyzing them. Also the research area “Virtual Manufacturing” can be defined as an integrated manufacturing environment which can enhance one or several levels of decision and control in manufacturing process. To reflect this expanded scope, the broader terms “microfluidics” and “lab-on-a-chip”...
The aim of this work is to establish design principles and model equations for analysing sensitivity of MEMS cantilever sensors. Sensitivity and quality factor were estimated to be the most important parameters for MEMS cantilever sensors.
In this paper observed data objects replicated at multiple computers that can be synchronized using synchronization messages exchanged over a network. The messages include a current operation parameter and a previous operation parameter that are processed to determine how and when the replicated data objects should be manipulated. Data in the message can also indicate a unique priority level of the...
