The paper deals with topologies of two, three and four leg converters for two-phase AC motors and the analysis of space vector pulse width modulation. Space Vector Modulated Direct Torque Control (SVM-DTC) for the two-phase induction motor is also used. Proposed control technique and estimators are simulated with Matlab/Simulink. Experimental verification is done with dSPACE environment.
The paper deals with conventional control of a single-leg voltage source inverter loaded by a single-phase induction motor and its improvement by current control loop applied at reduced speed operation. Current control brings a major improvement of current quality and better behavior of motor as well. Previous statement was experimentally verified and its comparison is given in the paper as well.
This paper deals with comparison of a novel supply system consisting of a single leg matrix converter with a single leg voltage source inverter fed the single phase induction machine. Single leg matrix converter operates without DC-interlink, thus there is no need to use bulky capacitors. Comparison of the two converters is made by simulation under motoric load.
The paper propose a novel Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) for two stage two-phase matrix converter with four legs fed two-phase induction motor (TPIM). Proposed control technique reduce number of switching, switching losses and therefore increase efficiency. Comparison of simulated and measured stator currents THD and efficiency comparison of two stage matrix converter controlled by SVPWM...
The paper deals with design and simulation of 2-phase direct torque controlled induction motor (IM) drive using space-vector modulation (SVPWM). The IM drive is supplied 2-phase full bridge inverter. The control system uses direct torque control method with PI controllers of torque and flux denoting by reduced torque ripple. Simulation results in both motoring and regenerating modes are given in the...
The paper propose a principle of novel Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) for two stage two-phase matrix converter with two legs fed two-phase induction motor (TPIM). There are made comparison of matrix inverter fed with high frequency AC voltage with sinusoidal and rectangular shape. There is also proposed comparison of stator currents total harmonic distortion.
