A super J-pole antenna with two fractal Koch curve shaped elements is proposed in this paper. In order to increase the bandwidth and to provide the proper phasing of the currents in the antenna elements a duplexer type phasing section is designed. The antenna performances (radiation patterns, VSWR and gain) are simulated and optimized for GSM-1800, UMTS-2100 and Wi-Fi 2,4 GHz bands. Fractal J-pole...
A Yagi antenna with three fractal Koch curve shaped elements is proposed in this paper. The antenna performances (radiation pattern, return loss and gain) are simulated and compared with these of classical Yagi antenna for the same frequency band. Fractal Yagi antenna features relatively small size and high gain. The return loss is experimentally measured.
In this paper modified Sierpinski gasket fractal antenna is proposed. It is based on combination of first, second and third Sierpinski fractal iterations. The modified antenna features small size and relatively high gain. The performance (return losses and radiation pattern) of this antenna is investigated and compared to a simple monopole and deterministic Sierpinski gasket. The antenna is fine-tuned...
