Our paper presents a new method to analyze Chua's circuit and gives a simple method to define circuit parameters that yield to chaotic behavior starting from the typical values used by Chua and coworkers. Using our method, we sugget a fractional order Chua's circuit that behaves chaotically based on the use of a fractional order low pass filter. Numerical simulations confirm our claim.
