Mutual injection induced locked and unlocked states in monolithically integrated lasers with ultra-short coupling delay are investigated. The analytical expression for locking range is presented, and quasi-periodicity route to chaos is observed experimentally.
A novel approach for millimeter-wave generation is proposed and demonstrated by suppressing modulation induced chaos in an integrated coupled DFB laser. Millimeter-wave carrier with high spectral purity is generated at ten times the modulation frequency.
The artificial fish swarm algorithm is a new kind of optimizing method based on the model of autonomous animals. After analyzing the disadvantages of AFSA, an improved artificial fish swarm algorithm is presented. According to the ergodicity and stochasticity of chaos, the basic AFSA is combined with chaos in order to initialize the fish school. The improvement of the swarming behavior increased the...
A chaos particle swarm optimization algorithm (CPSO) is proposed in this article, it takes advantage of the characteristics of chaos optimization algorithm such as ergodicity, randomness etc. and improves the basic particle swarm optimization algorithm, its particle action is based upon average local best position and the global best point, whatpsilas more, an integral control unit is added into the...
