This paper describes the preparation of nanoarrays composed of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs: 20–50 nm) for use as surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates. The AgNPs were grown on porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) templates by electrochemical plating, and the inter-channel gap of AAO channels is between 10 and 20 nm. The size and interparticle gap of silver particles were adjusted in order...
The formation/rupture of conducting filaments (CFs) in resistive random access memory (ReRAM) materials tune the electrical conductivities non-volatilely and are largely affected by its material composition [1], internal configurations [2] and external environments [3,4]. Therefore, controlling repetitive formation/rupture of CF as well as the spatial uniformity of formed CF are fundamentally important...
Anisotropic metamaterial made of nanowire array can realize negative refraction of light even without a negative phase index of refraction. Using this material, we were able to achieve lensing action with micron-thick slab and demonstrate imaging of a slit object. The details of the focused light beam in 3-dimensional space have been mapped with NSOM.
