Dual-power PV-grid system was introduced to manipulate the lower tariff rate at off-peak period and to reduce the capital installation cost of PV energy system. In this paper, the system configuration, architecture and operation of the dual-power PV energy system are described and discussed. From the review of various multilevel inverter topologies and switching control strategies, the cascaded H-bridge...
This project presents a detail review of the subject fault diagnosis; feature extraction, dimensionality reduction and fault classification are being discussed. This project focuses on the faulty bearing which mainly caused by mass imbalance and axis misalignment. By analyzing the vibration signal obtained from the test rigs (rigs that are built to demonstrate the effect of faults in rotating machinery),...
In this paper, the single-phase matrix converter (SPMQ is presented to operate as an inverter with fully controllable regenerative capabilities. PWM technique was used to calculate the switch duty ratio to synthesize the output. Safe commutation strategy was implemented to avoid voltage spikes due to inductive load. Selected simulation and experimental results are presented to verify proposed operation.
