Background
The early diagnosis of Sézary syndrome (SS) is challenging. Loss of CD7 and CD26 expression on CD4+ T cells is the currently used criterion in the initial diagnosis and staging of patients with SS.
Objectives
Our aim was to evaluate the respective value of CD26, CD7 and KIR3DL2 expression on CD4+ T cells and total lymphocytes at initial diagnosis of SS.
Methods
This prospective study...
The continuing need to reduce transmission costs drives the requirement for higher spectral efficiency in optical communication systems. We review here the use of Bandwidth-flexible ROADMs as one of the enablers of higher capacity systems.
This paper describes experimental demonstration of 50GHz ROADM tolerance for a realtime, single-carrier, 127-Gb/s coherent PM-QPSK system. 10 WSSs are cascaded over 1000km NDSF and <;0.5dB OSNR penalty is measured for the worst case. Cascading limit is also predicted.
A 43Gb/s DPSK format data transmission is demonstrated through 66 Wavelength Selective Switches (WSSes). By optimizing the channel shape of one of the WSSes, the transmission distance was increased from 1600 km to 2640 km with improved BER.
We report the first nonlinear experiment performed in a chalcogenide (As2S3) waveguide Bragg grating through which a 4 ps input pulse undergoes soliton fission to emerge as a train of six 450 fs pulses.
The strong photosensitivity and nonlinearity of chalcogenide glass makes this material an ideal platform for Bragg soliton devices. We present the first nonlinear grating experiment in an integrated chalcogenide waveguide.
We observe modulational instability and pulse train generation in an integrated waveguide Bragg grating written in highly nonlinear chalcogenide glass. This Bragg soliton effect occurs at pulse energies 10,000 times lower than any previous reports.
We present here an approach for a hybrid model of trust. Our idea on the trust model is that all evidences on interactions could be used to measure the trust on required actions before taking the decision. We use the policy language proposed by Krukow et al.[2], with some slight modifications to specify our trust model.
