In this paper, we propose a new simplex unscented transform, and a new filter - modify unscented Kalman filter (MUKF) based on this transform. It has less compute consumption than UKF, SUKF (Julier and Uhlmann, 2004) and EKF (Athans et al., 1968). Computer simulation show that this filter has the same performance as UKF and SUKF; and we analysis the computational requirements of EKF, UKF and SUKF...
In this paper we analyzed the relationship between the accuracy of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation and manifold length of linear array, abstracted from it an index to compare the accuracy of DOA estimation among linear arrays. Based on analysis of the index, an approach to design linear array with high accuracy in DOA estimation was presented. The results of stimulation verify the effectiveness...
Array sensors position error (ASPE) turn nominal array manifold into error manifold, but subspace algorithms still search nominal manifold for direction of arrival (DOA), so ASPE degrade the accuracy of DOA estimation algorithms. Nominal manifold and error manifold are surfaces embedded in CN, in this paper, relationships between them and subspaces are analyzed, a new method to determine error of...
