In this contribution, we provide an insight into the light-induced degradation of multicrystalline (mc-) silicon caused by copper contamination. Particularly we analyze the degradation kinetics of intentionally contaminated B- and Ga-doped mc-Si through spatially resolved photoluminescence (PL) imaging.
