Progress in silicon technology has promoted NEMS sensors as viable and highly sensitive candidates for gravimetric applications such as gas sensing, mass spectrometry and biochemical analysis [1]. The high sensitivity to mass is related to the small dimensions and intrinsic mass of the NEMS themselves, which results in resonant frequencies in the 10MHz-to-1GHz range and drive voltages reaching 1V...
The verification of today's complex mixed-signal SoCs poses major difficulties: image sensors with several million pixels, RF tranceivers with GHz signals carrying thousands of symbols, heterogeneous systems with scattered time constants often suffer from some form of verification coverage reduction, resulting in design robustness degradation, unnecessary overdesign or even functional failures. This...
The existence of an optimum line aspect ratio that minimizes interconnect delay for a given configuration is demonstrated. We study the sensitivity of this ratio to several line configurations and technological variations. The variation of far-end crosstalk voltage is also investigated with respect to line aspect ratio.
